One of its first public offerings was Pathfinding in Uncertainty: Cultivating Capacities for Leading into the Future. Led by John Bloom and Leah Walker, this four-day intensive focused on approaches to and practices of self-knowledge through biography, and the practices of forming new agreements through coming to understand others’ perspectives and practices. We focused on the renewed processes of shaping the spaces between us and how we stand in the world together. This Intensive was offered in February 2024, and will be offered again in February 2025. Spirit Matters has served as fiscal sponsor for and participated in two closely aligned initiatives. The World Social Initiative Forum’s initiative called Leadership in Transformation is a global online forum for young leaders of social initiatives from the US, Kenya, Egypt, Chile, England, and Japan to learn from experienced practitioners and leaders and to form peer groups for ongoing learning around the world.
The second is an ongoing annual gathering called Intuition & Money. This gathering brings together individuals, each of whom has a spiritual practice, to reflect on their experience with money, the social and spiritual challenges it brings, and to consider ideas and approaches to systemic transformation through the transformation of consciousness. The joy of numerous spiritual streams coming together out of good will and open hearts, and the accompanying emergent insights have changed personal and organizational practices over time.
