Pathfinding in Uncertainty

Cultivating Capacities for Leading into the Future

Overview

This four-day intensive is designed to develop capacities for self-knowledge as a foundation for leading and serving others in a time of uncertainty, distrust, and a willful by-passing of truth. Leading out of one’s intuitive sense for the future, out of a mood of inquiry rather than outcome, brings one—regardless of experience or origin—to a threshold, a gateway to community. This recognition and how to navigate it lie at the heart of this intensive.

What We Will Do Together

  • Engage in contemplative and experiential practices that cultivate inner stability
  • Work with polarities and tensions to develop imaginative capacities and clarity in decision-making
  • Explore how self-awareness, collaboration, and intuition can guide leadership in a time of fragmentation

How We Will Work

The intensive includes a balance of individual reflection, small group collaboration, artistic exercises, journaling, and facilitated dialogue. Participants will also receive optional preparatory materials prior to the event and curated resources to support continued integration after the gathering.

Reflection from a Past Participant

“Pathfinding offered me a deep sense of hope and renewed energy to continue in my leadership role. Being with like-minded people in a safe place and focusing on my personal leadership, while hearing about the experiences of colleagues in similar positions was fortifying.”
