Intuition & Money 2026
A brief sketch
The annual gathering of Intuition & Money was held at Lifebridge Sanctuary, Rosendale, NY in early June. This year was the 15th such gathering. Spirit Matters has served as fiscal sponsor for the last two years. This year’s guiding theme was characterized by four key words: Intuition, Initiation, Interdependence, and Inquiry. Each participant has an intuition-based discipline and brings their particular perspective, taken in without judgment by participants, as part of emergent understanding and a shared sense for inviting wisdom in support of group consciousness. Often insights arise that no one person may have come to individually. While it is of necessity a small group, there are some who participate every year, some who return after a hiatus, and some who come new each year. One consistent reflection on the gathering is that participants return to the experience for inner strength, inspiration, and colleagueship through the year.
To offer a sense of the intent of this year’s gathering, the following passages are drawn from the invitation:
We are living in an initiatory time that calls forth inner steadfastness. Signs and transformative opportunities are everywhere about us as the force of materialism sinks ever more deeply into our collective consciousness—in our money and social systems, in the descent of artificial intelligence. Intuition, initiation, interdependence and joy are antidotes to this descent. This year we again gather in inquiry from multiple streams of practice to learn from each other, strengthen our inner resolve, and nourish the collective soul in service to the wellbeing of humanity and all life.
The outer world seems to be breaking apart, perhaps as a cosmic play with real-time, real-world consequences. We know that our steadfast intuition-informed work can guide us in and through the uncertainty. We will embracethe tension between spirit and matter, hold space for truth, beauty, and goodness, and share how each of us is working out of spiritual guidance to be present, of service, and bear healing forces in our present times. We will witness and bring presence to the process of being in these chaotic times through contemplation and community, using a variety of structured and unstructured processes, all done with and for the spirits of co-creation.
